19-21 May 2026, the Regional Workshop on Claims and Compensation was held at Laico Hammamet in cooperation with the International Oil Pollution Compensation Funds (IOPFC), the International Group of P&I Clubs and the International Tanker Owners Pollution Federation (ITOPF).

The workshop was conducted by Ali Kielany, Claims Manager from IOPCF, Erin Walton Associate Corporate Director at the International Group of P&I Clubs, and Natalie Kirk, Technical Advisor at ITOPF.

The event brought together 26 delegates representing MOIG members and various national ministries. Participating entities included AGOCO, APO ARC, ANPE, EPE, ETAP, Navy, ONPC, SEREPT, SGAM, TANKMED, TOPIC, TPAO and TPS.

29 May 2026, MOIG produced its Brochure – Version 2026, aimed at providing general information and an overview of the organization’s background and activities. The new version consists of six (06) pages and includes information on the Framework, Guiding Principles, Mission and Vision, Membership, Members and Technical Partners, Membership Benefits, Contact Details, and Useful Links.

Updates were made to the front page and the Members section. In addition, new photos from recent events held during 2025 and 2026 were incorporated into the About Us, Membership and Members sections to better reflect MOIG’s latest activities and achievements.
