20 May 2026, the MOIG Management Committee Meeting No. 28 was held at Laico Hammamet in conjunction with the Regional Workshop on Claims and Compensation.

The meeting was attended in person by Malek Kallel, Chairman and representative of SEREPT, Moncef Chebbi, representative of ETAP, and Bechir Jaouadi, representative of TANKMED. Mohamed Adbeib, Vice Chairman and representative of NOC, as well as Achraf Ben Dhifallah, representative of TPS, attended the meeting online.

The session provided an opportunity to review recent activities, approve the Minutes of Meeting N° 27, discuss membership fees, the financial situation, the 2026 Business Plan, the preparations for the upcoming Regional Workshop and the General Assembly Meeting to be held in Greece next November, as well as the 2027 programme. In addition, discussions were held regarding the new version of the Oil Spill Response Equipment Database.
