Among these, the Sakarya Gas Field located within Türkiye’s Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) in the Black Sea—stands as the country’s largest natural gas discovery, marking a critical step toward reducing Türkiye’s energy dependency. Additionally, the Gabar Oil Field in Southeastern Türkiye represents a transformative milestone for domestic oil production.
