From 24 to 26 March 2015, the MOIG Director participated to Interspill 2015 organized in RAI Centre in Amsterdam.

The event attracted associations, manufacturers, services companies, experts working on oil spill preparedness and response

The conference featured oral communications, poster presentations, science workshops, spill industry seminars and short courses.

The main conference programme was organized around engagement, training and exercising, shoreline issues, dispersant issues, inland spills, surveillance, monitoring and visualization, decision support tools and hot topics & case studies.

The event was a great success and good opportunity to promote MOIG as well as to meet the attending members, technical partners, organizations, services companies such as: DESMI, Swire, IEMS, NRC, Shell, MEKE, REMPEC, OSRL, CEDRE, FOST, NOFO, FRAMO, NORLENSE, ARAMCO, WITT/O’BRIENT’S.

The MOIG Director has undertaken fruitful discussions on oil spill preparedness and response.
with key persons and experts paving the way to develop new relationships.

The next Interspill conference will be held in London in 2018.
