The MOIG Management Committee is very delighted to welcome the new member “Société Tunisienne des Industries de Raffinage (STIR) ”.

The company was founded in 1961 following an agreement between the Tunisian Government and the Italian Group ENI. Its social purpose is the refining of crude oil in order to satisfy the needs of the national market in terms of oil products.

STIR is also committed to cover all the petroleum products needs of the country through the importation of finished products.

The company has a huge tank park with a capacity of approximately one (1) Million Cubic Meters.

STIR also hosts a professional training center and fire school dedicated to provide respectively training on regulation procedures and instrumentation as well as on basic security, industrial management risk and implementation of emergency plans for the benefit of industrial firms.
