Bechir has a diploma on Management Mastery obtained in 2001 from the Faculty of Economic Science and Management of Jendouda in Tunisia. He has almost 24 years experience dealing with Health, Safety and Evironment affairs He joined TANKMED in October 2001 with an initial assignement in the Headquarter in Tunis. In February 2003, Bechir was affected to TANKMED Terminal in Skhira located in the Golfe of Gabes in the Southeast of Tunisia ; undertaking the Safety  aspect.  From  2004 to 2012, Bechir was charged with the Environment aspect and nominated in 2012 as a head of the Environment Service. Since 2017 up to now, he held the position of the Health, Safety and Environment Department. Bechir is a permanent member of the workplace Safety and Health Committee. He participated to many Training Courses, Oil Spill Response Exercises and Regional Workshops organized by MOIG  in the Mediterranean region.
