From 21 to 25 October 2013, the MOIG Director was designated by ETAP, MOIG founder; to participate to the training course on Environmental Management and Techniques in E&P Operations, held in Eni Corporate University, in Milan-Italy.
The main objectives of this training were to provide participants with:
- Knowledge of the basics concepts and modern techniques of environmental management
- Particular reference to the organizational and operational aspects
- Relevant Exploration and Production division policies, procedures and standards
The training course included .05 sessions; which are the following:
- ISO 14001 standards in E&P guidelines
- EHSIA standard biodiversity
- Water management offshore environmental Monitoring
- Waste management & Site remediation techniques
- Air emission management & Decommissioning
This event gathered 09 participants from Algeria, Gongo, Iraq, Italy, Kazakhstan, Libya, Poland and Tunisia.
Several discussions were held with attendees paving the way for exchanging experiences and expertise in Environmental management.
