From 09 to 13 June 2014, the 07th International Conference on Environmental Science and Technology (ICEST) was held in Houston, USA to discuss matters relating to environment.

Houcine MEJRI, Head of HSE Department at ETAP and MOIG Director presented a poster entitled “Drilling Waste Management/Case Study in Southern Tunisia” at the Waste Management Session. He highlighted that the poster drew the admiration of many participants from USA, India, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, China, Malaysia, France etc.

Several discussions were held with many delegates paving the way for exchanging experiences and expertise in waste management and remediation.

The MOIG Director pointed that this event was a very good opportunity to promote MOIG and emphasize its technical expertise on oil spill preparedness and response.
