The MOIG Director was invited; on 04th November 2016; to participate to the first scientific committee meeting; held in the Grand Hotel; in Tunis-Tunisia.

The main objective of this meeting was to discuss the preliminary programme of Health Safety and Environment Conference HSE 2017; scheduled to be held from 24 to 26 April 2016; in Ramada Plaza Hotel-Gammarth; in Tunis-Tunisia.

The meeting gathered experts from the Oil and Gas Industry, Work Safety and Health Institute and services companies to exchange views and ideas on the programme of the conference.

MOIG presented its extensive experience in organizing major events and suggested to dedicate one session to Oil Spill Preparedness and Response and invite an International expert to provide a key note address on Health, Safety and Environment and the future challenges on the opening panel.
