08-10 April 2025, the MOIG Director participated to INTERSPILL 2025, Europe’s leading oil spill conference and exhibition, which took place at ExCeL London, United Kingdom.

The conference was officially opened by Paul Rayner, VIKOMA Sales Manager and Chairman of INTERSPILL 2025. The event attracted over 1100 delegates, 160 speakers, and exhibitors representing 70 countries, making it a major international forum for the oil spill preparedness and response community.

This event provided an excellent opportunity to meet and engage with MOIG members, technical partners, and key players in the oil spill community, including ATRAC, Cedre, CASTALIAS, DESMI, ELEGY, EPE, IPOC Funds, ISCO, LAMOR, MARE, MEKE MARINE, NOC, NORLENSE, OSRL, POLYGREEN, SURECLEAN, and VIKOMA

We were very delighted with the outcomes of these meetings, which have paved the way for the development of the MOIG programme 2026–2027. This progress reinforces our commitment to advancing regional cooperation, enhancing preparedness, and strengthening capabilities in oil spill response across the Mediterranean.
